Quick Gorgonzola Pasta sauce is a complement for gnocchi, fettuccine, and other hearty pasta.  I added fried shrimp to complement the pasta and the sparkling wine.  Bubby pairs well with fried foods.  The acidity is perfect for cream sauces and fried foods.

Heat 1 teaspoon vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chopped spinach, and stir-fry for 1 minute or until wilted. Remove from pan, and keep warm. (Place spinach on paper towel for excess oil to drip off.)

My pick for this summer salad is” Kim Crawford” Sauvignon Blanc.  This wine is great to drink anytime.  The overabundance of fruit flavors, citrus, passion fruit, melon and high acidity sparks the salad and amplifies the flavors.  Any Cheese Cake Factory fans out there? My wine pair for this meal is “Natura” Sauvignon Blanc.  This Sauvignon Blanc is fresh, bright and well balanced.  It is 100% organically grown grapes.  This wine performs well with poultry.  The acidity enhances the fresh herb and accentuates the flavors of spices.  Sauvignon Blanc gives the goat cheese a fruity taste.   Mix salad greens with a citrus vinaigrette dressing will be the perfect match.
