kinda Crab Salad

This salad is paired with Chateau Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling is a crisp, dry and refreshing style of Riesling. It exhibits fresh flavors of white peach and mandarin orange, and ends with a clean finish.



1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 pound surimi (imitation crabmeat) shredded
1/4 chopped celery
hard boiled egg (optional)
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, season with salt and pepper
1 package of mixed greens

Combine first 8 ingredients together and let sit for 15 minutes. Serve over mixed greens.


Dry-style Rieslings have a fruitiness that can be described as “stony.” It is not as overtly fruity as with sweeter Rieslings.  This wine has a slight spicy texture and density that gives them the body and power to pair well with full-flavored foods and classic sauces, simple seafood dishes , salads, cream sauces and butter sauces.
